Post-New Year

New Year's Eve was a while ago now, and everyone is already moving on to their New Year's Resolutions - But I must share these photos with you.

For decorations we had lanterns and my handmade bunting strung to the umbrella.

These drink holders are super neat - they're like giant bull clips - that give you extra space on the table.

This is a really easy DIY - just super glue shot glasses to the bottom of plastic cups and you're good to go. Choose lots of different coloured cups and no one will get mixed up with which is theirs!

Mandatory cupcake tower.

Midas the bird holding down the fort.

Music was supplied by the talented Morgan.

The easiest way I thought of to serve jelly shots. No more messing around with tiny plastic shot glasses. Spoon - and - go.

Here's to the best coming year!

Much love,
Laura

It's Raining Outside

The weather in Perth the past two days has been a bit unpredictable.
This is something unusually because we can normally guarantee that it will be sunny and warm on any given day of the year.

So when it started sprinkling rain in the middle of my photoshoot (for some new dresses for my shop) I got on this awesome pink raincoat, put up my pink umbrella and continued shooting!

I've got some fabulous pink dresses (to match the raincoat) which I am super excited to show you soon!

Much love,
Laura

Thank you to my boyfriend for enduring some weather for me xx

Days of Markets II

Go Go Retro last weekend was my first market where I sold my goods, and it went off without a hitch. I had some lovely customers who got some lovely items. Here are a few quick snap shots!

The hashtag you can use to check in at my stall.

This beautiful dress which I showed on my last post with my vintage necklace.

Dresses sorted into colour. Some are avaliable on my Etsy shop right now, others will be up next week (if they aren't sold on the weekend!)

Creating a nautical look.
I have a dress in this blue and white style too if you like that theme.

Thank you to everyone that helped, I can't wait to do it again this weekend!

Much love,
Laura

Days of DIY

This guy:

In following the theme of some bloggers I decided to snaz-up Mr. Midas (you'll see why he gets that name in a few pictures) to fit in with the decor of my room.

This included him getting a make-out.

I mean, make-over.

Heres what I did:

Supplies: Pink and Gold spray paint. Masking tape to make sure the right bits were covered up.

A bit of pink to start.

Some gold tape (put on in bits so that he has a fairly straight line around his neck).

Gold spray paint.

 And a necktie.

And now he shall follow me where ever I go, secretly I want to be a pirate.
Plus pink is my favourite colour.

Much love and inspiration,
Laura
