Days of Dresses

Greetings, and a special hello to everyone who lives in Australia.
Specifically Perth.

Coming up in December I am super excited to say I have a stall at two Vintage markets around Perth.

You can find the event for each here and here respectively.

I hope to see you there!

Days of Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching, and I thought I might get into the swing of things a bit early.

Witches fingers anyone?

To make:
I used a basic biscuit recipe and added a bit of green food dye.

Rolled the dough into fingers sized pieces. The knobbly the better.

The detail is in the nail (chocolate pieces and sultanas) and lines on the fingers. I varied the length of my fingers to make them seem more plausible.

Fresh out of the over. I like how the chocolate nails have gone all bubbly.

And now to dip them in some gruesome flesh (white chocolate with red dye).

Detaching itself from the evil witch/wizard.

Whilst they look a bit macabre, they taste delicious, and receive just the reaction I wanted when I made them.

Maybe I will make a nose or ear that has been chopped off next time!

Much love,
Laura

Days for Salvos.

At the moment the Salvation Army, or Salvos as they are fondly referred to, is having a great competition to be the face of their Stores. Its a wonderful opportunity and I have entered on their Facebook page if you would like to vote for me, all you have to do is press "Like"!

Here's what I wore:

And here are some extra shots:
Can you see the detail on the shoes? They have wonderful scalloped edges.

This dress is perfect for summer - cool and light, and the perfect shade of blue for me. Can't wait to wear it out to a Sunday morning brunch!

Isn't the case divine? Perfect size for makeup, or lingerie.
And I couldn't resist the hat because it looks exactly like the one Madeline wore!

Don't forget you can still enter the Salvos Facebook Competition yourself, its on till the end of the month.

Much love,
Laura

Days of Quick DIY

Just one quick DIY for your Tuesday which is ever so cute, owing to the adorable printables from Tiny Me and (a small amount of) my colouring skills.

What you'll need:

Printout's from Tiny Me, coloured in, scissors, double sided tape or glue and pegs.
(I printed the pictures at half size because I wanted them to be a bit smaller)

Apply the double sided tape and remove the second layer of film to reveal the sticky side.

Line up the picture with the peg.

Attached!

You could also add a magnet to the other side to make it a handy fridge ornament.

Perfect jar decoration.

Mucho mucho helpful receipt holder.

These are adorable and the perfect decoration for my desk.
Enjoy!

Much love,
Laura

Definitely can hide a few extra lipsticks in here.

These ones a bow'tifule.

They're vintage Bally, and simple delightful. Soft leather all over.

The bow on this is removable! So you can change it to match your outfit!
